This Driver Safety & Conduct Policy ("Policy") establishes the mandatory safety, professional, and ethical standards applicable to all drivers ("Drivers") who access or use the DDirect, ("DDirect" or the "Company") platform. Compliance with this Policy is a condition of accessing the platform and forms part of the Driver Independent Contractor Agreement. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings assigned in that Agreement.
1. Obey All Laws – Drivers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local traffic laws, transportation network company (TNC) regulations, and campus or municipal ordinances at all times.
2. Vehicle Condition – Vehicles must be properly registered, insured, clean, smoke-free, and pass all required safety inspections.
3. Seat Belts & Child Safety – All passengers must be properly restrained. Drivers must comply with applicable child-seat laws and provide reasonable accommodation for service animals.
4. Substance-Free Operation – Driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing medications is strictly prohibited. DDirect reserves the right to conduct zero-tolerance testing where permitted by law.
5. No Weapons – Firearms or other weapons are prohibited while providing driver services.
1. Punctuality – Drivers must arrive at pick-up locations within the agreed window. Excessive tardiness (six instances of 15-minute lateness within a three-month period) may result in suspension.
2. Non-Discrimination – Drivers must provide services without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or age.
3. Respectful Communication – Drivers must maintain professional, courteous language and tone in all in-app messages, calls, and in-person interactions.
4. No Unauthorized Passengers – Only passengers listed in the ride request may be transported.
DDirect maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment, sexual assault, or sexual misconduct. This section incorporates and replaces any prior standalone Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy and is binding on all Drivers.
Sexual harassment, sexual assault, and sexual misconduct by any individual while using the DDirect platform are strictly prohibited and may be unlawful.
Sexual Assault includes unwanted or attempted unwanted touching of sexual or non-sexual body parts without consent, including non-consensual touching, kissing, or penetration.
Sexual Harassment includes unwelcome visual, verbal, nonverbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Comments or questions about a person's body, appearance, or sexual life
Sexual jokes, gestures, or explicit language
Displaying indecent or sexual material without consent
Soliciting sexual acts or favors
Indecent exposure or sexually explicit threats
Any sexual contact while using the DDirect platform, including during trips or immediately connected services, is strictly prohibited regardless of consent. Violations may result in permanent account deactivation.
All contact between Drivers and passengers must end upon completion of a trip, except for approved item returns. Post-trip contact, including social media interaction or in-person visits, is prohibited and may result in deactivation.
1. Protection of Passenger Data – Drivers must not disclose, copy, sell, or misuse any personal information obtained through the platform.
2. Use of In-App Tools – All communications and ride arrangements must occur through DDirect's approved in-app tools. Sharing personal contact information is discouraged and may result in discipline.
1. Transparent Pricing – Drivers must honor the agreed-upon fare without hidden fees or post-acceptance payment demands.
2. No Cancellation Abuse – Cancelling rides to demand higher payment or penalize passengers is prohibited.
3. Tips – Gratuities are voluntary. Aggressive solicitation of tips is not permitted.
1. Accidents & Emergencies – Drivers must immediately stop in a safe location, contact emergency services when necessary, and report incidents to DDirect within 24 hours.
2. Misconduct Reports – Drivers must cooperate fully with all Company investigations. Failure to respond may result in suspension or termination.
DDirect takes all allegations seriously and will act promptly. Reports may result in immediate account suspension pending investigation. DDirect may review GPS data, timestamps, communications, and other relevant evidence while protecting confidentiality to the fullest extent possible. Retaliation against individuals who report misconduct or participate in investigations is strictly prohibited.

DDirect retains sole discretion to determine violation severity and disciplinary action.
Drivers are required to review this Policy during onboarding. Continued use of the DDirect platform constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this Driver Safety & Conduct Policy. Failure to comply may result in suspension, permanent deactivation, indemnity obligations, or termination of the Driver Independent Contractor Agreement.
